ABOUT US
Founded by the late Willie Maclean of Tigh Na Brunan, Kildary in 1980, W Maclean Joinery won an award from the Concrete Society in 1985 for their work on the Kylesku Bridge completed in 1984 sub-contracting for Morrison Construction Ltd.
In 1991 we worked with Morrison Construction Ltd and Christiani & Nielsen Ltd in the construction of the Dornoch bridge and completed the sea walls at Scrabster Pier near Thurso for Mowlem Marine Ltd in 2003. Other notable projects during this time include the foundations for the gondolas at Aonach Mor completed in 1989 and our participation in the Aquadome at Inverness, completed in 1997, also for Morrison Construction Ltd.
W Maclean Formwork Ltd is a member of the Federation of Small Businesses.
Across the North of Scotland we continue to participate in large and small scale construction of sea walls, harbour walls, dams, river works and road works and are now trading as: W Maclean Formwork Ltd.
